HRH welcomes Sophie O’Keeffe as the new Quality & Risk Coordinator.
Sophie’s roles is to ensure the residents are comfortable, provide support to staff and keep an oversight of the quality and safety aspects of things.
Sophie will work with staff on activities they are already doing and add some additional activities to help identify any gaps or processes that could be better or improved.
Part of Sophie’s role is to oversee risk management such as falls, medication, staff and resident safety and to mitigate any risks to ensure a safe living and working environment.
Sophie previously worked at Deakin University in Warrnambool lecturing in nursing for eight years, following a range of clinical experiences in Melbourne and Queensland along with working in oncology and operating theatres.
Sophie is really excited about her new role at HRH, she had heard so many good things about the team and organisation and the positive road it is heading and wanted to be part of the journey.
She has also been on the Board of Directors at Moyne Health Services (Port Fairy) for the past six years and loves the quality and safety components of this role.
