Heywood Rural Health had a great turn out for the free aged care information session, addressing the options, government funding scheme changes and support that come along with it.

Heywood Rural Health’s Moorayt room was completely filled with curious minds looking for a better understanding of just what aged care looks like.

Attendees learnt straight from the experts, with guest speakers, Services Australia aged care specialist officer Marty Pitts, Boyd McDowell accredited aged care financial planner Emma Arthur and LiveUp community engagement professional John Bradshaw.

The session helped with understanding the aged care journey, recent reforms and the support available to anyone wanting to know about aged care services.

Plus, there was a large spread of nibbles to keep stomachs full during the long afternoon session.
