Recognizing Outstanding Staff Efforts

Three staff members, Erin Wilson (People & Culture Office), Lauren Newman (Workplace Coach) and Taneha Benson (Director Clinical Services) were awarded a special recognition for going above and beyond in creating innovative workforce strategies at the Heywood Rural Health (HRH) AGM held on Friday 22 November.

All three undertook outstanding work organising the recent Career Expo held at HRH. This event not only showcased our organisation but also opened doors for countless individuals to learn, explore, and envision a future with us. The level of professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail was truly inspiring.

In addition, the active participation in two job fairs during 2014 has positioned HRH as a forward-thinking and accessible organisation. By engaging directly with potential candidates, they have ensured that HRH continue to attract passionate, talented individuals who share our vision and values.

Equally impressive is the dedication to arranging placement programs. These initiatives are not just about filling positions; they’re about nurturing talent, fostering growth, and building a stronger, more cohesive team for the future. There efforts have made a lasting impact, providing invaluable opportunities for individuals to gain experience and contribute meaningfully to our organisation.

And finally, HRH commended their proactive approach in addressing the accommodation needs of new staff and locum workers. By arranging portable housing solutions onsite, they have removed a significant barrier, making transitions smoother and ensuring that our team members feel supported from day one.

These efforts reflect a deep understanding of what it means to be a part of a dynamic, people-focused organisation. They also demonstrate unwavering commitment to our mission of excellence.

Congratulations to all three staff for your outstanding contributions.
