Heywood Rural Health is hosting a FREE Aged Care Information Session to help community members understand the aged care journey, recent reforms, and the support services available. This session provides practical, reliable information straight from experienced aged care professionals.

Marty will explain the different types of aged care services available and how Aged Care Specialist Officers can support you by:
- Referring you for an aged care assessment
- Assisting with appointing a Registered Supporter for My Aged Care

- Connecting you with local support services
Whether you are seeking help at home or considering residential aged care, Marty’s presentation will outline the process and next steps.

Emma is an award‑winning accredited aged care financial planner and 2019 Women in Finance – Financial Planner of the Year. Based in Warrnambool, she specialises in aged care and retirement planning, Services Australia and DVA advice, and long‑term financial strategies, helping individuals and families make informed decisions with confidence.
John Bradshaw
Community Engagement Professional, LiveUp
John will introduce practical tools and resources designed to support independence and social connection, including:
