Heywood Rural Health is perceived as an integral member of the community; the philosophy and values espoused by our organisation are aligned with our image and identity. Separate to the government’s formal statutory framework, Heywood Rural Health’s core nature is defined by our corporate strategy process, providing the organisation with general ethical points of reference.
Heywood’s service catchment area is identified as Heywood and the surrounding district that is served by Heywood Rural Health, including Dartmoor, Casterton, and Merino. Each of these towns have small populations and are relatively isolated from main stream services.
Heywood Rural Health is well supported by residents’ families, staff and volunteers and the wider community. Our ethos is to continue working with our community to create a positive, enriched caring environment.
