The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Victoria would like to introduce mental health clinician, Andrew Golding to the Heywood community. Andrew is taking over from Leon Martin who has moved onto his next chapter. Leon was an asset to the team and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours. Andrew is looking forward to starting in Heywood and will be available to provide free and confidential mental health and wellbeing support from the 1 August.
Andrew is a psychologist and has been part of the Flying Doctor Wellbeing team since 2021. Andrew has a great understanding of both the challenges and the rewards of living in the bush and has been providing mental health support to rural communities for more than two years. Andrew is passionate about continuing to provide high quality mental health care to the Heywood community.
“It is a privilege to be able to work on the Southwest Coast and West Wimmera areas of Victoria which are places I appreciate greatly, both for their kind people and communities and the amazing landscapes and nature that are present,” says Andrew.
“I am so thankful to be welcomed to Heywood and look forward to being able to provide support to the people in these areas into the future.”
